S/Y AUGUSTA
The typographic logo for S/Y (Sailing Yacht) AUGUSTA is one of those cases where its short version (we can call it “visual abbreviation”) and its full version are integrated inside the same design.
The reflection of the letter A creates a mirrored image, while the full version describes the bow of the ship, also enhancing the dynamics of the logo. The two versions occupy a different area, and are respectively used for small and/or large applications.
